RFA was engaged by GWA Group to perform noise and respirable crystalline silica exposure monitoring at a manufacturing plant in Australia. This project was undertaken in order to provide confidence to workers that controls implemented by the business were adequate to manage the exposure risk and to identify if any further actions could be taken to further reduce the risk. This project also included providing training to workers on the risks, checks to be conducted on PPE and ventilation equipment and advice to the business regarding any health monitoring requirements.
