Risk Factors Australia have been engaged by the PDS Group on behalf of GPT to facilitate the Safety in Design process for the 51 Flinders Lane redevelopment consisting of a 41 level commercial tower and interconnecting 14 level commercial tower, including basement car parking, split lobby and retail. The scope includes design document reviews, chairing the Safety in Design Workshops, development of the Safe Design Report and Risk Register and undertaking independent audits of tendering contractors. This is a particularly interesting project as it is located in a high vehicle and pedestrian traffic area of Melbourne’s CBD.
